Martorano wearing the o for three collar so far, and he gets on via a free pass. Enwiller gets the bunt down for a sacrificeand Martorano moves into scoring position.
Tessar pops up to third for the second out. Harris in a big RBI situation is jammed but he gets enought of the old horsehide to Pius it in right and Carolina as a Insurance run.
Busch who has been a major thorn in Boston College all day continues the trend with a long 2 run blast over the big wall in left and now Carolina leads by eight at 13-5 and pitcher number 7 for the Eagles which be coming in. Sabato lines out to center on the first pitch he sees from Lane and another 3 run inning ends.
Grogan in for UNC to hopefully close the deal. Dempsey is the first batter he faces and he takes a called strike three. Cunningham grounds out to Busch unassisted for out number two. Martellini keeps the inning alive stroking a single to left. Suozzi takes two strikes on the black and then fans on high heat. Relief pitching pretty solid late for Carolina for the 2nd straight game. Play at the plate prevented a big possible inning for BC and it was no question the real turning point of the contest. No clue will be a everybody on deck game. Could be a 13 Title game when we get a great showing from a surprising player like Big Taylore Cherry in beating Virginia Tech.
