It baffles my mind as to why a DC has to stay on the players about being physical. I thought that was why they played defense (other than the CBs who want to play WR but can't catch)?

Great defenses go above and beyond the aggressiveness inherent in a def player. They develop an attitude and identity that transcends individual toughness. We had plenty of tough guys and big hitters last year. But there was ZERO cohesiveness as a unit.

That is the truth. They looked like individuals who barely knew one another. Individuals who lacked heart or lost it easily in tough situations.
