Chaz Frank answered his phone at 2:30 EST Thursday, and sounded like he had just woke up.

He explained he had been up about 30 minutes, and had just finished a bowl of cereal. Oh, the glorious life of a pro baseball player.

Frank is adjusting nicely to life in the minor leagues, and that's impressive considering the changes he has undergone in the past month. While playing in the NCAA tournament, he found out he was drafted in the 20th round by the Toronto Blue Jays. The Tar Heels were bumped from the tournament one step short of the College World Series championship game, which meant Frank's college days were officially over. After a few days at home in Lexington, the Central Davidson graduate found his passport and headed to Vancouver. His first assignment was with the short-season class A Vancouver Canadians, which meant life was about to change in a big way ? new team, new home, new time zone, new level of play, new everything.
