The Tar Heels were bumped from the tournament one step short of the College World Series championship game, which meant Frank's college days were officially over. After a few days at home in Lexington, the Central Davidson graduate found his passport and headed to Vancouver. His first assignment was with the short-season class A Vancouver Canadians, which meant life was about to change in a big way ? new team, new home, new time zone, new level of play, new everything.
