ECU lost to UCF

So the non-P5 team that hung 70 on us limped to an 8-4 finish, probably tied for 4th place in the AAC.

We got curb-stomped in all-time epically emabarrassing fashion by a team that couldn't even beat Temple.

Well, that is how it goes. State beat the crap out of us and didn't really beat anyone else all year. This all goes back to coaching. ECU and State really wanted to beat UNC and wanted it way more. They were motivated. UNC came out the same way against Duke, but far from it against State and ECU. I know it is impossible to motivate players for 12 games, but come on, how can they not get up for the in state rivals.

ECU is as wildly inconsistent as UNC.

Worst clock management ever by EZU. They may have beat us by a gazillion, but last night they
sucked for three quarters and then had a great comeback. Had the ball at the UCF 18 with 1:02 left
in the game and found a way to lose. In four plays they lost 17 yards and left :16 on the clock.
Was a miracle play, but serves the coaches right. They were celebrating on the sideline and the
team was dancing instead of killing the clock or trying to get a first down.

Clock management in the Cincy game was equally as bad. Threw the damn ball 6 times in a row inside the 5 instead of running once to run the clock down. Cincy got ball back with over a minute left and was quickly in FG range.
