So she is playing the #2 seed, Carol Zhao(Stanford) today at 1 PM . .

It would be just awesome for Jamie to win the NCAA Women's singles title . . I'll be pulling for her . . !

She has been a force since she arrived at UNC, making the women's tennis team very formidable. Good luck to her today. I'll definitely tune in if I'm around a TV.

Loeb won the first set 6-2. She trails 0-1 in the second set but the match has been suspended for rain.

I was stuck at a Yankee game during match. Glad to see Jamie won. She probabbly should have won last year. This year Jamie and UNC also won indoor national titles. She also trains at John McEnroe Tennis Academy. McEnroe believes in top players going the college route (as he did) but there some hint she might turn pro. As #1 women's recuit in 2013 she's still accomplished a lot early

UNC coach Kalbas said "If you would have told me she'd win two national titles and win 47 matches, I would have said, 'No chance. I knew she was good coming in, but she definitely exceeded my expectations." That was last May.
