Charlie Heck - OL
He is a a project, the kind who now most likely will not contribute before being a 4th year junior.
But then again, he is listed at 6-7, and he has the pedigree. He might grow into being a truly 1st rate lineman.
Taking another OL commitment with our needs on D means either that we are going to be shut out on DT recruiting other than Crawford or that we think Heck can be a sleeper steal.
Caleb Samuel was recruited by a number of schools as a DT. Is it possible we are going to move him to the DL? If he can play on the DL and play well, maybe that can help.
Of course if our players on D keep missing tackles by the dozens, then no position change or 1 or 2 signees can help.
