What are some of the unique road names in your area?

Hog Terd Lane (has apparently been renamed Hog Ave.)

Huntersville, just north of Charlotte, has a whole series of hilarious alleys.

• Alley Bama (Alabama)
• Alley Cadabra (Abracadabra)
• Alley Oop
• Alley Louia (Hallelujah)
• Alley Cat

Ones in Charlotte that I know offhand.

• Backwater Drive
• Ideal Way
• And my personal favorite: Touch Me Not Lane

Charlotte also has the bizarre feature of roads that intersect with themselves or change names for no apparent reason. See if these links work:

• Intersection of Sharon Rd. and Sharon Rd. (there are about 8 million "Sharon" variants, too, like Sharon Lakes, Sharon Amity, etc.)
• Intersection of Queens Rd. West and Queens Rd. West
• Etc.

Charlotte isn't alone in that silliness with self-intersecting roads. I used to live at the intersection of East Wright Road and South Wright Road here in Greenville. Giving directions was fun. Turn right at Wright and Wright. Huh?!

Chapel Hill has a road called Tinkerbell Road not far from Eastgate Shopping Center.

I think MA might not be the right type of state to have road names relevant to this conversation - but my aunt/uncle up in Maine live on Quail Run. Not Quail Run Road, or Ave, or anything - just Quail Run

North Myrtle Beach has one called possum trot road. Right on the main drag also.

Believe it or not the Possum Trot rd. at MB was named after one here. We also have an area called Booger Swamp. A winery here in town introduced a new wine called Booger Swamp Red that made it's way to the David Letterman Show.
