SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Saturday afternoon's North Carolina-Notre Dame baseball game at Frank Eck Stadium was postponed due to inclement weather and will be made up on Sunday as part of a doubleheader.

Sunday's first game will begin at noon, with game two scheduled to start 40 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

North Carolina defeated the Fighting Irish on Friday in the first game of the three-game set, with Johnny Castagnozzi belting a grand slam as part of a six-run ninth inning to lead UNC to a 10-8 win.

Connor Bovair (2-3, 2.59 ERA) is scheduled to pitch the first game of the doubleheader for the Tar Heels, with Jake Knapp (3-0. 3.42) scheduled to start the second game.

Both games will be streamed on ACCNX.

Good series win even though we couldn’t get the sweep…. Heck of a performance from Bovair in Game 1, looking at the past couple weekends he might need to become the Friday Night Starter if this trend continues

I'm going to go ahead and get in my obligatory complaint about turf baseball fields.
