I fully expect that the university will keep its accreditation, but if SACS decides to revoke UNC's accreditation, what will happen?

Life will go on . . . just not as we once knew it.

The entire town of Chapel Hill will shrink by 75% within a couple months as the entire student body would be forced to leave causing mass closures of all types of businesses. Massive foreclosures with property values cut in half immediately would make Chapel Hill a ghost town!

Can we get a legitimate answer, please?
Are you suggesting these answers haven't been legitimate? How dare you.

UNC would no longer be eligible for federal and state funding if it loses accreditation. It would be a death sentence, which is why it's not going to happen. This thread is a bit ridiculous, hence the ridiculous responses.
