Bad time in South Bend.

Anyone watching any of the games today? Watching the GT and Clemson game with Clemson leading 21 to 7 with 0:41 left in the first half. Clemson just intercepted a pass and are driving with 0:15 second left before halftime. VT is destroying BC which comes as a surprise considering how BC has been playing of late.

Carl Torbush has passed away. He was only age 72. Carl was an outstanding D coordinator for Mack 1.0 and became head coach here. Previously he had been a D coordinator for multiple SEC programs.

Rest in Peace Carl.

The Rat said on his weekly Sirius radio show that he expects to be at tonight’s Arizona-Duke game. It’ll be the second game at Cameron he has attended since retiring a year ago. He wants Caleb Love to steal his soul for a third time. This is must see television

Personally, I hope he plays well. I never had any issue with Caleb at all. I liked him and still do. It was time for a change, no doubt, he I will be glad for him if he has a big year. Tonight should be interesting.

Caleb probably cemented his standing with Carolina last night by playing a key role in Arizona’s win over Duke. He had “Tar Heel 4L” written on one shoe that also had a Carolina blue swoosh. I think this separation was necessary for both sides. I will be a “Caleb 4L” fan.

Wonder if they will go back to Brennan or give the nod to Lex Thomas? Very interesting move by Doeren.

I watched the Louisville versus Virginia game last night hoping Virginia would pull off the upset. Unfortunately, they didn't. Almost. Had a big comeback after trailing 14 to 0. Went into the lead. But couldn't hold it at the end and lost by one TD. Virginia had a big injury to their running back on the play that they scored. The back took a big hit and fumbled. Another player picked up the loose ball and ran 52 yards for the TD. They had to cart the player, Perris Jones, off the field. Turns out that he has regained mobility and, hopefully, will be okay. I had the volume down and didn't hear them call the play. But it turns out that the player that gave him the hard hit was Cam'Ron Kelly.
