2019 SG Josh Nickleberry

I would not mind a two fer, but not likely to happen. A good sign none the less to get them on campus. Work on 'em Sean.

Any chance Baker finally gets the offer on the visit? He's been pretty warm on us despite not having one.

It seems to me that Roy has prioritized Wendell Moore as his 2019 wing and given him ample time to commit while holding off on offering Baker. It'll be interesting to see if Roy finally offers Baker and says first come first serve for the Scholarship.

I believe you are right Heels05champ.. I like both but I like Moore the most out out of both them I think he has more potential since he is the younger of the two he will just be turning 16 next month I believe.

While there has been no "official offer" not so sure he does not have an understanding with Roy if you catch my drift.

Yeah Mikey, I believe you are spot on that there is a mutual understanding in place. There is a "little" 2018 unfinished business that may need to be settled that an offer and accept from Roy to Joey could make a little more difficult to get settled in the manner Roy wants.

Ample time is an understatement. Dude was like our first offer in 2019 IIRC.

I prefer Baker.

Is the silent offer akin to the silent verbal?

Isn't Little a likely OAD?

Not saying you are wrong, but what is the point of doing this? If Roy can make official offers to Francis, Moore, Carey, Wiseman, Black, White, Hamilton and Nickelberry why not one to Baker as well? It just doesn't make sense to me unless there are "issues" coach wants to see addressed privately before offering publicly.

I don't see it. But then again, there have been guys less ready than he'll be who have chosen that route. Who knows? But if and when the time comes where we're watching players come in and out on an annual basis like UK and duke, I'll check out on college basketball.

Perhaps he's just not as high on Baker as I am. He'a certainly offered enough others.

I'm okay with the occasional OAD. But I agree with your last sentence. Multiple OAD's every year and I'm done.

Nickleberry is the next Joseph Forte. Or maybe not. But that was a comparison mentioned in the podcast. Also compared with Wayne.

I don't see why Roy would need to secure Little's commitment before offering Baker? The two don't seem very related, being in different classes and all.

Little' s commitment would be HUGE!!! He is a player who is a game changer. Baker is someone who will facilitate and do all of the dirty work. Both are needed and wanted.

"Facilitate and do all of the dirty work" doesn't fit Baker well, from what I've seen and heard. He's a multi-dimensional scorer whose all-around game needs improvement.
