If I remember correctly Harrison Central of Gulfport is a consistent winner in MS HS football and also often plays games, and scrimmages, against teams from Mobile AL and Louisiana. So those guys who star for the program are well prepared for CFB.

I live less than 20 miles from the school, they have been at best and only once in a while middle of the road for decades now. They don't win much at all. The other larger schools that are in Gulfport/Biloxi/Ocean Springs are the powerhouses for South MS. HCG does have some talent sometimes but not nearly as much as the larger schools have year-end year-out.
