4 games left... How do you think we'll do?

It's been a while since I was this fired-up about our football tam, or at least had expectation and anticipation with each game.

But, these last 4 seem harder than all the previous 8 games.

How do you think we fare?

1) Duke- at home in Chapel Hill

2) Miami- same

3) Virginia Tech- Blacksburg

4) NCSU- Raleigh

I wouldn't be surprised if we lost all four. I wouldn't be surprised if we won all four. But I'd more more surprised if we lost all four than if we won all four.

I got laughed at for picking us to win 10 games and take the Coastal during the summer... lol

We are favored in all 4, according to the FPI, but realistically I see us going 3-1. We will beat dook and 'da U, but we play in Blacksburg for Beamer's last home game as VT coach, and then in Raleigh for the wolpfack's annual super bowl. Both of those road games are going to be brutal. I can see us losing to the Hokies, but getting some revenge on State.

Could easily go 4-0 or 0-4. My sensibility says that we don't win out though. I think we go 3-1 down the stretch, losing to VT in Blacksburg during Beamer's final home game. With that said, 3-1 losing only to VT locks up the Coastal for the Heels, so I'll take it! Definitely will take a 10 win season going into the ACC-CG.

Admittedly, the storylines around the games have gotten tougher for UNC. Dook whining and entitled mindset that the league owes them (which the league will accommodate); Miami has plenty of talent and now is playing for the Coastal title legitimately themselves; Beamer's last game; and moo's pathetic obsession.

Yep, agree with this. Also.....people (including me) keep saying that the VT game is now so much tougher because it is Beamer's last game. That is true for sure, but....it's not like that fact is going to suddenly transform VT into a much better football team! They're still very average.

If I have to pick a number, I'll say 3-1 but Duke is the swing game. Win and we can go 3-1 in the final four games. Lose to Duke, and it see it as a 2-2 at best, and possibly a 1-3, which would be devastating.

Just don't see us losing to Va tech. They are terrible. I honestly think UVA and Wake would beat them. I think Ga Tech is going to beat Va Tech as well.

I see us going 1-0 this week. I'll get back to you about Miami next week

It depends on injuries and which Marquis shows up. If we stay healthy and he plays consistently we can win out.

I think 3-1 also. All 4 games scare me with way our run defense is playing. UNC has to be able to stop those 3rd and shorts to get the offense back on the field. Dook coming off that controversy, VT in Beamer's last home game (plus they will have extra time as they play on Thursday the week before) and state in Raleigh where they could be playing to spoil UNC's season have 3 emotionally jacked opponents. Extremely little room for error the rest of the way.

I feel like we'll go 3-1 but 2-2 is just as possible. Either way, win our next two and we should lock up the Coastal.

3-1 is realistic. I just don't see us getting it done at Va Tech given the farewell tour for Beamer, and in Raleigh. I think we drop one of those.

I think we have a better shot than most think if we can make it to the ACC Championship game. Clemson isn't exactly known for being able to finish down the stretch.

no worse than 2-2. I think they beat Duke and Miami. However, I am worried about the VT and State games. VT is beamers last and we have gotten incredible screwed by the officials against VT in the past, so I think that is going to be a loss. After last year's debacle, I don't see us beating State. For some reason they have our number and they have nothing else to play for as their cupcake schedule is over and they are now getting their butts beat on a regular basis.

I'd be happy with 2-2. I'd like the 2 to help clinch the division.
