At the southern baptist convention the following resolution was put to a vote-

"Racism and white supremacy are, sadly, not extinct but present all over the world in various white supremacist movements, sometimes known as ‘white nationalism’ or ‘alt-right,'” the resolution states. Southern Baptists “decry every form of racism, including alt-right white supremacy, as antithetical to the Gospel of Jesus Christ” and “we denounce and repudiate white supremacy and ever form of racial and ethnic hatred as of the devil.”

58% voted support of it. Not enough to pass it.

Now i'm not so naive as to think a lot of southern baptists as well as people in general arent racist but this shocked me.

The man in charge of bringing resolutions to the floor of the southern baptist convention claimed the language was "innappropriate". Supporters hope to revise the language for another vote.

Love one another. Lol.

So here would be my issue...and I am a Southern Baptist....why single out Alt-right white supremecy? Racism is racism and includes all races....to me by putting the alt right white supremecy in the resolution speaks of an agenda!!! I would have voted against it as well!!!
