It absolutely blows my mind that it was 42 years ago. I can remember it like it was yesterday , cussing and fussing about the game and my dad coming in and threatening to cut off the TV. Thank God he didn't

I was making the turn between 9's. Stopped in the pro shop long enough to see the last minute! Walter Davis came to our school later that spring during PE. I asked him to make the shot again. After going 0 for 3 he gave up trying.

Was at the game in the nosebleed seats. When all the alumni left early we moved down to the mid court and watched the last 2 minutes. We are in many of the old photos. It was amazing and a life long memory. Go Heels
