Maye is so good that he is making us forget how good Howell was. Maye has a higher ceiling than Howell. My 5
1. Calija Kancey's loss hurt pitt. Maye seemed to have more time second half.
2. Maye is helping make Longo's overall O and RedZone O look great. I haven't seen nearly as many playcall complaints.
3. You don't need a run gm when your QB can read so quickly and sling it so quickly w such accuracy, and your WR/TE have good hands.
4. We lost Noah Taylor, Dez, Hood, and Nesbit - 4 starters - and didn't flinch : our depth looked great.
5. D players looked motivated, scheme looked like a good approach too - great to see.
So are you going to admit Mack's team was prepared after a bye? I saw where you were throwing him under the bus for the ND not being prepared out of the bye.Maye is so good that he is making us forget how good Howell was. Maye has a higher ceiling than Howell.
I saw fewer obvious mistakes on D than in any game this year.
We don’t agree on a whole lot re: UNC football but on this we do.Maye is so good that he is making us forget how good Howell was. Maye has a higher ceiling than Howell.

Of course he won’t. His post above was as close as you’ll get. You know if he says anything complimentary about UNC football he’ll turn into a pumpkin. So are you going to admit Mack's team was prepared after a bye? Even if we'd lost you gotta be impressed with how motivated the whole team looked. Of course you want your team to look motivated every week, but we gotta credit Mack for instilling some urgency and making sure their are player-leaders, yada yada.So are you going to admit Mack's team was prepared after a bye?
