North Carolina is 7-0 in the ACC for the 10th time in the 63 years since conference play began.
The Tar Heels escaped Virginia Tech with a 75-70 victory Sunday to improve to 18-2 overall and 7-0 in the ACC. It’s the first time in 15 years the Tar Heels have started an ACC season with seven consecutive victories.
