IMO, there is a very good chance that we are 1 and done in both the ACC and NCAA tourneys. I think that we will pull out a close one today against BC, but I think that Louisville will have their way with us in the next game. That would put us at 22-11 heading into the NCAA tourney, which would probably give us about a 6 seed. I think that we can grind out a 1st round win, but I really can't see us winning the next game.
With that being said, we would finish this year at 23-12. If you combine that with our past 2 seasons, our record is 72-33 (68.6% winning percentage). IMO, that is unacceptable for Carolina basketball.
I hope that all of our players return for next season and that we can see some big improvement from the current freshmen. If those guys progress and Brice and Paige both come back, we will have a chance of getting back into the Sweet 16 and possibly the Elite 8. If we can couple that with the NCAA leaving town and a great 2016 recruiting class I think that we will get back to where this program needs to be.
