With Pitt and Georgia Tech knocking off ranked teams in second-ranked Clemson and No. 14 Virginia Tech, and Miami securing an impressive road win over Virginia, three more ACC teams reached bowl eligibility last Saturday. With two weeks remaining in the regular season, the ACC now has nine bowl-eligible teams in Clemson, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Miami, North Carolina, Pitt, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. NC State (5-5) can achieve bowl-eligibility with a win either this week at home against Miami or on Nov. 25 at North Carolina. Three ACC teams--Boston College (UConn, at Wake Forest), Duke (at Pitt, at Miami) and Syracuse (Florida State, at Pitt)--are 4-6 and could attain bowl eligibility with wins in each of their fi nal two games.
