I found a few stats that were pretty important from the Radford game. If we substituted the stats from last years team; we likely don't win the Radford game.
  • Heels shot 52.5% from the field. IIRC, last year they shot about 10% less than that.
  • Heels shot 35% from 3 point range, however the 2 halves were quite different. First half was 50% (5-10) and second half was 20% (2-10). Again, this 35% is still almost 5% higher than last season.
  • Heels shot 65.2% from the FT line. That is about 2.5% lower than last season. However, if you take Ingram (2-5) & Cadeau (1-3) out, the team shot 12-15 (80%). We'll need Ingram & EC to shoot better from the line.
  • Heels had 18 assists on 32 FGM. That's assisting on 56.25% of made FG. No idea about the number from last year, but I'd think it's significantly better.
  • Heels had 11 turnovers which is not bad, but we'd really like to be single digits. IIRC, 6 of those turnovers occurred in that first half stretch after the first TV timeout.
