A few notes from the scrimmage:
*Elliott did make some nice throws but was so-so on some, too.
*None of the injured D-linemen we noted earlier in the week participated: Jalen Dalton; Mikey Bart; or Dajaun Drennon.
*JC transfer LB J.B. Copeland got in a lot of reps with the 1s. His physicality is really showing and he's caught up as far as knowing the system.
*RS Fr Tommy Hatton got a great deal of the snaps at right guard. He well could have the edge in that competition.
*True Fr QB Chazz Surratt took some reps with the 2s. He had some excellent throws and continues to impress.
