In regards to Mando winning National player of the year?
I think that will be a Steep hill to climb for him and I would put his chance at VERY LOW.
I think Edy is definitely the current leader and that is saying something because in his own conference Trayce Jackson Davis is putting up ridiculous numbers nightly. TJD was out playing Mando in their head to head, even before Mando hurt his shoulder.
The best bet after Edy has to be Justin Wilson at Kansas. Big time numbers even through KU recent slide, averaging almost 32 per game furing their losing streak and he is shooting lights out right now. Plus when you factor in Brandon Miller, Oscar at UK, Timme, the chances of Mando winning are very low in my opinion.
I think for him to even garner consideration he would need to be around 25/15 the rest of the seadon and maybe win ACCT mvp.
Agree. ACC POY is his to lose, IMO, and he will take that and a natty over national POY.
