Mitch Trubisky's ability to field bad snaps cleanly and avoid fumbles won't show up in the stat sheet, but I'm sure Fedora and especially Lucas Crowley appreciate Mitch's good hands.
MT has cleanly fielded a number of less-than-stellar snaps thus far this season. There's no bigger and better example than on our first TD against JMU (the run to the pylon by Logan). Go watch the replay on the broadcast if you DVR'd the game. They show a replay from behind the goal post that really depicts it well. On the play, Crowley pulls (extremely well) and paves the way. In his haste to get out on the perimeter, he snaps it awfully low and to Mitch's left hand. Trubisky one-hand catches it with his left then calmly gathers it and still completes the handoff to Logan in proper timing.
Wow! Way to go Mitch!
