I almost hesitate to post the link, given that the article was written by that a$$hat Eamonn Brennan, who of course couldn't resist taking another shot at UNC over the junk instead of talking about the team, but here it is:

UVa after losing their front court and Brogden are ranked #4 and we are #5? LOL

Ky at 3 is a freakin JOKE, has to be, that team will be fortunate to finish the season top 15, write that down and tell me I am wrong at the end of next season's regular season! Indiana IMO can be bad ass, don't sleep on Oregon or UCLA and we should know what Nova is bringing back. I am not totally sold on kansas but they darn sure belong in the top 10 more than Ky.

Duke has a lot of young raw talent and they wil blow some teams out bad but they wil also slip up. IMO, they wil need yet another favorable seeding by the NCAA to win it all, sad thing is I expect them to get that favorable seeding. They were in a better situation when they were not expected to be the team to beat, they will have a target on their backs all next season and freshmen struggle with that unless they are extreme talents that can poise extreme mismatch situations. Not sure that defines this duke team but I am glad they are starting out 1.

I am going to say it right now, IMO we have a great shot at repeating last season and maybe winning that one last game. We have some question marks but I LOVE our potential answers! I do believe we have a chance to be even better this season than we were last season, need to see how some things develop this off season with some individual players but one constant we have seen with Roy is his players get more productive with few exceptions. When I consider the typical development curve of Roy's players it gives me reason to believe we could be a better team next season than we were this past season. I can't wait to see!!!

Agree 100 percent with you on Kentucky. They lose there two best players on average team last year that couldn't get out of the first weekend of the tournament. Return garbage players with another overrated recruiting class. Yeah they will win some games in that garbage league they play in, but teams like Unc duke Kansas Villanova will be so much better. Can't wait till we wipe those little wild kitties in Vegas and continue are dominance over them in this mid match of a series.

I think the trashing was merely IU fans upset that their program was truly brought to it's knees 9 years ago by the NCAA over rules that don't even exist anymore (too many text messages) at a program that has always been as clean as a whistle. While a large academic scandal goes through practically unscathed at UNC from a bball perspective.

Obviously it has never been that cut and dry nor was the focus even with the UNC bball team. The problem is most casual fans opinion is based on the little information most fans have around the situation. Most only know what came from McCants and the subsequent perception that followed. People are only invested enough to get angry but rarely invest the time to prove their initial opinion wrong.

I have no problem at all standing by my words JC, I do not believe that your Ky team is a top 15 team now or at season end. I will be more than glad to admit if I am wrong, I think I have always stepped up to admit I was wrong on those RARE occasions that I am.

OOOH scary! The big bad Kentuckian is going to remember what we said. This is rich, because most UK/KU (never figured which was which) fans can't remember what they said about their own sainted coach before he joined their perfect empire!

I will go on record as saying kentuck is overrated as well AND I never deny my own words. I don't revise history either, for example, if I said a person was a cheat I wouldn't change my feelings if he became my coach. If my coach ran off a significant portion of my team and did not honor scholly offers from the previous staff as soon as he joined my team, I would have led the charge calling him out! If my coach stated the NBA success of the players was more important than my beloved university's success, I would call for a change! As for puke(also potentially way overrated), I wouldn't want a coach that was so loose with the truth and the world's greatest hypocrite! But to each his own.

I think UNC has many questions to answer and I think we might be overrated as well if any of them do not develop as I think they will. However, I believe we have the pieces to match or even exceed what last year's team accomplished.
