A Tweet to make your night a "Little" more sweeter!!

You want to know which other tweet should grab some attention? It looks like Duval retweeted a highlight of his dunk right after the game. Not a good look for a team that just lost to its biggest rival and a player who hasn't had the best attitude this season.

Wow, I guess that just goes to show you where his priorities are. I said it to my family after the game and I’ll say it on here, I’ll gladly take the group of guys that we have any day, they are team guys who have bought into what is so great about Carolina Basketball and you know what is awesome the 3 kids that we have coming in next year will do exactly the same.

Even Duke fans are livid about this.

Glad to see some of their posters acknowledge that it's hard to root for kids who are just there for a few months and using their school as a stepping stone. I would never say no to talented kids who want to attend and I do think we could use some more one and dones but to have 4/5 starters on the floor as freshmen who will only be there for one season is not something I want to see out of my program....ever.

As they should be.

Duke has most talent in college basketball but full
of “me first” guys. I love it. Keep it up dookies!
Yep. Carter, Bags, and Duval are all gone after this year.

I also feel the Tripper is a disruptive force this year as he sees his pro aspirations dwindling and tries to impress pro scouts, especially late in games. If the LOM was smart, he'd go inside to Carter and Bags all game long. Nobody has answer for them.

Don't take this the wrong way because the school matters. But they are guys that do things for each other and not themselves. I feel like they could be playing in Romania in front of some goat herders and they would still carry that same attribute. Where down the road in Derm it seems that there is a disconnect among the group , mainly between Allen and the frosh. He tries to be all "Ra , Ra!" in the huddle. But they all seem to have this vibe that they are not really into it to hear any of it from Grayson. They hear it but they don't listen to it and absorb it.

This is hard to believe. I just can't imagine the ignorance of tweeting this. Maybe a week from now, maybe a month from now but are you kidding me, soon after the game? Wow.

I can't wait to see Little laying the smack down on puke; I expect to be marching ON Zion before too long!

I agree. I think the Zion cop-out lit a fire under him. And by all accounts, he's already a fiery kid.

Man, I wanna see Little achieve his NBA dreams, but if he stayed even 2 years I think he would become an all-time favorite. That 2019-2020 team could light the NCAA on fire. And it would be his team.

Sadly discounting Felton for now plus the rest of the 2019 class, you'd have:

PG - Woods (Sr.) - Francis (Fr.)
SG - White (So.) - Platek (Jr.)
SF - Little (So.) - Robinson (Sr.)
PF - Brooks (Jr.) - Black (So.)
C - Manley (Jr.) - Huffman (Jr.)

Ugh... I can see it now.

Was Bacot into the game?

I'm gonna guess no because I didn't notice him in the albeit limited broadcast glimpse I had. But still, you'd think that the only person taller than Little in the student section would stick out. Methinks he enjoyed a free ticket to watch his future "team" play the Tar Heels. Gaucho will have to verify, though.

This is one of the few Duke games I have seen recently that the refs did not give a call or two to Whip/Trip because of his ridiculous phantom jerks and twerks. That stuff is going to look even stupider if he should get a chance to play at the next level.

Not really. To be fair though, Little is more the exception. I've seen Coby White at a couple of games and he hardly moves at all. I'm sure he's still pumped to come here.

Marque Moltsby was also at the game and he didn't look too excited either, but I find it hard to believe someone would rather play at a small school than be part of Carolina after watching us yesterday. Even as a walk-on it has to be pretty darn special.

Sssshhhh. KRat may read this!

ESPNs 2019 mock draft has Little going 4th overall, and Cam Johnson in the 2nd.
Little can be a game changing recruit for us, removing the OAD myth against UNC. I also read Cam could be playing himself into the 2nd round for this years draft. I think he leaves if he gets a 2nd round grade.

Let's hope not.

And yes, I am ready to see him do that.... On Zion's head. Can someone photo shop Zion's head on #13 please?

I would love to see Cam succeed at the next level, I think it would be a testament to him coming Carolina and developing under Roy, he came in as a kid who was known mostly as an outside shooter, but definitely will leave with a lot more to his game.

Cam definitely has the length and more than a good enough to stroke to do well in the NBA, what I really have enjoyed seeing is him attacking the basket more and flashing some mid-range game which will only be a asset for his game as he faces better defenders who will closeout more on his outside shots. He has already shown improvements on the defensive end (as he is really giving a strong effort) which is probably most important for him at the next level. What has impressed me is that he is a willing and capable passer that coupled with his high basketball IQ leads him to make some very nice and high quality passes, I think that's actually one of his underrated skillsets and an added bonus to his game. Another area is definitely rebounding and really making an effort to crash the glass on both ends of the floor, he really shined in the dook game on this front and I think that the more movement he gets off the ball he will excel even more on getting offensive boards and easy putbacks like JJ did last year.

Cam certainly is a very good basketball player, has a lot of intelligence and is a high quality kid that is continuing to improve and mesh with our guys, I would love to have him back next year, he would really have a huge impact for us as he'll be fully acclimated into our system and will mesh well with what we have coming in and returning. However, I am fully with him on any move he makes that is the best for him because it was great to have him come here, he is a Tar Heel for life and will always be a part of the Family.

I'd love that too, just not next year. ;):p

CJ may have a 2nd round grade right now, but if he continues to improve along the same trajectory, it will be hard for GMs to not see him in the 1st. He has the size, stroke, and athleticism to excel at the next level. At UNC he is developing the well rounded game, Defensive positioning and effort, strength/conditioning, and attitude to be special! I could easily see him as one of the best pro prospects to come from our system in a while. I hope he stays for his final year, but I will still root like crazy for him to explode to the point that he has to go this year!

He looks and acts like a Tar Heel born and bred!

I'm not very religious...but I thank god that even though I grew up with Duke fans in my house that he led me down the right path.

Married a duke fan. First get together was the 1991 ACC Championship (TV) I have told her that if UNC had lost, so too was the relationship. Hey bad luck is indeed bad luck. But of course UNC takes the trophy and the friendship progressed.
We have two nearly grown kids. BOTH of whom are avid UNC fans. I set the best example and provided the history.
One of which, my daughter, has been creating short player highlights: Called "Heellights" and can be viewed free on Instagram. My son provides the music, she puts together the video. J Jackson and Bryce Johnson both given a thumbs up for theirs, Joel James is a follower. She is up to 50 followers plus now. Trained them right!
