I have 2 dogs a german shepard and cocker spaniel and these girls are treated like queens ! everybody loves on them and they lay around and watch tv and sleep on the bed when everyone is gone ! I have a couch in my bedroom and the shepard will sleep on it and when I get up at 5am she will jump on the bed and take my spot beside my wife. These 2 dogs have a great life.

Good point. There are actually two huge recalls going on right now.

The first was issued by the FDA for 4 brand names -- Smokehouse, ZooLogics, Redbarn, and Raws for Paws -- due to salmonella contamination: https://www.fda.gov/AnimalVeterinary/SafetyHealth/RecallsWithdrawals/default.htm

Speaking of dogs, here's my kid Niam. He's a Basenji. They're known as the "barkless dog" because they have a vocal chord structure unlike other dogs that prevents them from barking. But, they *can* make all sorts of other crazy noises like this (volume up):
