I was thinking the same thing about the empty stadium before the game started. Actually a good crowd considering it is fall break for the kids. But I didn't like half the crowd left with 12 to go in the game. I wonder if these fans would still leave if we were beating a Top 5 team like that.
The crowd was very late in arriving, especially for a 7 pm kickoff. Once they finally arrived it looked like the largest crowd this year. I just do not understand why people get up and leave at the end of the 3rd. Our team is up and playing well, pounding a rival. That should be fun to watch.
Beat UVA and Pitt and the crowd should be huge for the next home game. Just need to create more buzz.

How were there 21 minutes on the clock? Do you mean pre-game? Students were out on break but I thought the crowd was pretty decent many started heading for the exits though when we made it 50-14. I went even though I felt like hell.
Maybe every fanbase doesn't support their teams like they use to. I don't know. I went to the game last night, and it was embarrassing. Empty seats everywhere. There are absolutely no excuses for filling that stadium last night. In state rival, 7 o'clock kickoff, weather was nice (got chilly toward the end, but still good). I have to give Fedora credit for recruiting, when all these kids are witnessing horrid fan participation. Everyone says winning solves these issues. Well, look we are winning and still no show ups.
Yea was talking PreGame....I will never understand this Fanbase...It did get better but I hear all the time Noon kick offs are the reason people are late to their seats....Heell I was in my seat 1 hour before but I am nut....Also worked until 3pm yesterday....Oh well still had a great time as always....I love night games at that place....Go Tar Heels...
