Might get run out of town for saying this, but even when Wisc was up 9, it didn't feel like they were in control, to me. UNC should have knocked them out and IMO we beat ourselves in that one. I was rooting like hell for Wisc to win tonight, but the difference in talent level just can't be missed. Kentucky could obviously run with anyone in the country, but being honest - ND had that one too.

Can't blame the refs...I think we just saw the last remaining team from easily the best conference in the country prove it.

I didn't feel like Wisky was in control, but I felt like they were going to eventually pull away when they were up by 9. The one thing that impressed me the most about this title for Duke was that I think it's the 1st time they've won it all without being either ACC regular or tournament champions.

I do owe Wisky a big thanks for knocking of Kentucky.

No, you sir are dead wrong here (jmho)... Kentucky would have beaten Dook tonight. They just sucked on Saturday, unfortunately...

I think UK would have beaten Duke but I am still glad that Wisc. beat them. I hate UK almost as much as I hate Duke. It would have been hard to watch the UK-Duke game.

We should had beaten Wisconsin. If Roy ever learn to understand defense and lesrn how to adjust throughout the game. We can beat everyone.

But congrats to Duke. Your coach is a wizard. ACC hands down best league. All of Luke's losses was to ACC schools

I would not have watched such a game.

I think Dook could have beaten UK - not only could, but probably would have.

I think there were some definitely questionable calls that could be attributed to the outcome (stepping out of bounds not called and some very uneven reffing of charges) but that happens all the time and I get tired of the argument "we would have won if not for the refs".

I don't think this was an indication of the ACC being the best anymore than OSU winning in football proved the Big 10 was the best football conference. This gets into the long tred discussion of whether a conference is 'best' if it has the best teams at the top or if it is the most talented top to bottom. ACC has the NC, Big 10 got 2 teams in the final four, and Big 12 had the most loaded slate of teams.

Essentially a third of our league was in the Sweet Sixteen. Think about that for a second, in terms of the logistics of the number of teams in the conference, and the number of teams in the country left standing at that point.

And one won the 'ship, much as I hate which one.

So I think the ACC has a pretty solid case this year.

(And on an all-time basis for that matter, but that's a different discussion.)

The Acc was a few plays away from 4 in Indy. No doubt we were the premier conference in America. On neutral floors against power 5 conferences the Acc dominated. I expect some of the same next year. Different teams, same results.
