Though this will be the 102nd meeting between the two teams in football in a series which began in 1888 in Raleigh, this will only be the second meeting between the two teams on ESPN’s Thursday night package. UNC took a 45-20 win over the then 20th-ranked Blue Devils in 2014 on Thursday night.
