How does the ACC stand heading into Christmas as non-conference play comes to an end? Familiar faces still lead the way.
UNC (10-2)
Look, I know they have two losses to Duke’s one, but Duke has only played one really good team (Kansas) and they lost. Carolina has played a tough Indiana team on the road and Kentucky in a neutral environment. They hung with the Wildcats the entire time, even with Malik Monk being superman. They are the top of the ACC right now.
Duke (11-1)
One loss doesn’t make up for the fact that TENNESSEE STATE gave you a run for your money AT HOME. Duke is definitely getting healthier at the right time, but that doesn’t always mean cohesiveness. Either way, Duke is still hanging around the top and will likely be there all season.

Duke lost to Kansas at the buzzer without its 3 highest rated NBA draft prospects. If they're all healthy, then they're a level above UNC.
puke is not a level above UNC. Nothing in their body of work even remotely suggests this. They are a couple of crazy levels above us, however! We weren't "healthy" for our losses either. Why would anyone say puke is so much better than UNC?
We will see but I really doubt that. Also bolden doesn't impressed me plus he barely plays

They aren't a level above us. But they do have the better roster on paper there's no doubt about that. Some of them on DI think they will beat us easily. We shall certainly see as both squads will be at full strength and in ACC mode when February rolls around.
On paper, they're considerably better. Fortunately, the game is played on hardwood and not wood pulp.
I agree on paper they are slightly better, but so was kentucky and we saw how that game went wihout us at full strength and Monk Going off like MJ. I guess Im not seeing it yet with Duke though. Bolden, to me he hasnt shown anywhere near what Bradley has, and he doesnt play that much anyways. Giles- Who knows if hes even able to return to close to what his potential is. As far as the rest of the roster, its literally a toss up in my mind.
I like Tatum-but is he really playing better than Jackson? at the PG spot Ill take Berry all day. really we match up very very well with them no matter how you slice it.
Just based on what both teams have shown us so far-
Berry v F jackson/allen
J Jackson v kennard
Pinson/williams v Tatum
Hicks/meeks/bradley v. Jeff/Giles/Bolden
Idk, it seems about as close as it can get. and our bench will always get the edge because K doesnt really utilize his the way Roy does.

It's too bad we can't play one of the games right now, because there's no doubt (with Berry) we've been better than Dook so far. We'll see if they can get more contributions from the freshman as the season goes on.
