I think it was Goodman who prefaced his question with a comment about the NCAA crap and asked Roy if it was a "blessing" that we were getting the 3-4 year guys instead of OAD's because of the investigation. What a tool. And yes, Roy shut him down and said he wouldn't wish this crap on his worst enemy.

What were the OAD questions?

Something to the effect of: "other programs (Dook, UK) excel at one-and-done... did you guys (Meeks and JJ) come in thinking you were one and done and do you have any regrets about not being one-and-done?" I don't recall seeing Roy clearly at this point but have to believe he was on slow burn because it is passively attacking these kids' talent.

They both answered it great. About how much the coaches and the team became a family, how Roy helped them form into fine young men.....how they are going to the final game for a second straight year and most kids at other schools never sniff one Final Four......

.... seriously, is there a stupider question to ask? Time will go by and the OAD's wil have their money and mansions and posse of hangers-on, and their spot maybe on the NBA roster..... but listen to those OAD's, in their conversations with members of the Heels Family. Those OADs would give up a lot in hindsight to be a part of the memories and relationships KM and JJ have experienced including the last couple years. You just can't get that at every school. It means more, at some point, than the money.

I wasn't saying you specifically. There is a difference between giving an opinion about a reporter and getting pissed off and angry about what they write. There are people on this board just like that. It just doesn't make sense to me, because there is no reason that you should give a reporter control over your life. That is what they are doing when they let a reporter determine their mood.
