Keep from getting skunked in head to head intrastate games.
win 10 games (2 regular remaining and the bowl game to get there).
Show that we can comeback from a poor late season performance.

Does it really matter now? We just lost to a crappy Duke team. We have better team this year and they have a worse team. We crushed them last year and got practically crushed this year. Just don't get it. You play 12 games a year, how can you not get motivated to beat them. Unfreaking believable.
some here were more worried about that game than duke.
they beat a scarolina team last year that had talent on defense, but quit on their coach.
fedora is a good recruiter and we have plenty of talent. but poor coaching is the obvious culprit for several disappointing losses-- poor motivation and mental preparation, poor game planning, poor utilization of talented running backs, poor (or non-existent) halftime adjustments, and of course dumb play calling. for stupid game plans the pass-oriented offense in a hurricane will always stand out in my mind.
The Citadel is undefeated, BTW, and leading in their game today. Obviously, we should win that game but it may not be as easy as some think. I think they run a triple option too and we always defend that well.
We really need to get up for that last rivalry game too because I suspect moo will be totally invested in that game. I'm not sure what to expect at Kenan that game due to the Friday scheduling.
We don't defend ANYTHING well. UNC's defense is a liability in every game they play. I think you're right. So, the offense really needs to play way better than they did for the last 3 quarters against dook.
