I don't think he has the speed and quickness to play LB or S or WR at this level, including on a G5 team.

He was going to be 3rd team QB at Wisconsin this year, hence the portal. Because he has P5 starting experience on a winning team, somebody may see him as a possible stop gap for a year, at least as the 2nd team QB.

If he is willing to go G5 for a chance to start, that's his best bet. Or 1AA.
