This one's a game to be concerned about. One of those that "shouldn't lose" games that could turn into a battle. Boeheim's first game back... they're expecting a crowd of 25,000+... that place will be ****ing nuts... all the stuff college basketball upsets are made of. If it happens it won't be a shock, but lessee what our boys can handle.

It could happen, sure. But it won't be because of atmosphere, Coach B's return, someone going off on 3"s, or anything 'Cuse does; it will be because we lost our intensity. This team has proven to be tougher than any gym, is better and deeper than 'Cuse, and is skilled enough to combat any zone, so a loss must come from inside us! I also don't see how a team with a history of success like Syracuse could sneak up on us.

I expect us to continue to play hard and shoot well; so I expect a hard-fought win!
A win tomorrow would tell us a great deal about what we are capable of this season too.

They will bury us from 3 if we come out sluggish. I think this is a game where we guard out to 25 ft.

Joel hasn't played against this zone, so it will be interesting to see what Roy comes up with.

Oh yeah, and the Dome will be rockin!

Well, 43% of their shots are treys so we' d better be cognizant of that. Coach specifically mentioned that yesterday so we'll see. I think the only way they win is if we go stone cold from the field or they just go crazy from long distance. I sure would love to see us stay attached to their perimeter shooters and force them to put the ball on the floor.

I expect Cuse to come out firing and hot .. probably take a slim lead into halftime, then wear down and cool down early in the 2nd half and UNC will keep rolling. 76-67

It's tough times in conference early this season, Md lost! The horror of it all! And a couple others in the top 20 lost, KU and ISU...
So as one of our esteemed posters mentioned above, better be prepared, every conference game is going to present some interesting matchups in personnel and will test our offense and defense again and again. So far I like the maturity of this team and their chemistry on and off court. That snippet of Roy speaking to the team in the locker room following Syracuse game was special.

All I got is GO HEELS!
