Amended NOA has been received

Yeah, had heard it would be "offically" to us within 10 days and posted about that early last week. But my understand is that we knew what was in it and had been working with the NCAA quietly since the new stuff caused a new NOA to be needed. Things appeared to be stalled because nothing was said publically. I think most of the recent discussion has been about how hard the women's team is to be hit, think we would accept a 1yr post season ban and 2 schollys a year for 2yrs, thinking the NCAA wants it more like 2 & 4 just to make a statement. I expect the women get a compromise of 1yr post season ban and scholly reductions for 2-3yrs.

As for the institutional control element, we can fight it and the NCAA can not win with the impermissional benefits language they just adopted, we pass the language they adopted. But it may be easier just to accept it and pay the fine rather than stretch this out and still have to pay attorneys. It would not have post season bans or loss of schollys for men's BB or FB.

We should hear the details in a few days, maybe quicker because the school should not have to first understand it before they release the details publically this time.

Yeah, take up to 2 weeks to redact....I tend to agree in that this 60 day, then 90 day stuff needs to go by the wayside. Pay a dang fine and move on...
Wailing and gnashing of teeth line forms to the left....

State fans on twitter are claiming to know what penalties the noa will contain. Yepp u cant make that shit up. Dumbasses actually claim to know that the noa will contain penalties for us. Heh heh heh.

There is supposed to be a teleconference some time this afternoon with reporters.

Facebook page just released this:

NCAA has removed all references of MBB and FB from amended NOA.

Lmao, I think the 5 Stages of Grief has just begun for the Crackride Faithful!

Stage 1: Denial! ("That can't be all that's in there")

are you serious or making a joke about the poster trolling abc'ers?

If you don't know the story, then check out the other "UNC/NCAA cloud" thread. There are a few posts + tweets linked inside about what happened.

The summary is: A guy was on Twitter for 2-3 weeks pretending to be a guy with inside information about the scandal. Obviously, Wolfers and other Truther fanbases leeched onto that. The guy claimed the allegations actually went as far back as 1989 and that "we could lose 3 banners". When it was announced UNC was going to release the NOA today, he got even more looks because it starting sounding like he was legit. Then he tweeted "GO HEELS!" and revealed the troll.

Best part is: He had communications with Dan Kane, and some guys from CrackRide were citing him as "inside sources".

The Conclusion: People will believe what they want, regardless of facts. Now the lol@ncstate are getting the big "F*U" they deserve and the meltdown is going to begin, and the NOA doesn't even mention MBB or FB.

That is hilarious. the abc'ers are gonna have a hard time getting that hook out.

Yeah, I figured it would be about mid week but as i shared, UNC already knew what was in this NOA before it was "officially" sent out.

And yeah guys, the women are gonna get hit hard. I think they are looking at 1yr post season and 4yr scholly reductions.

All the transfers from womens ball last year was an early sign of what we all know is coming
