Seems that they were certainly a bit over hyped. Their main problem is that they take the approach that Duke typically does (live and die by the 3) and in those 2 losses they shot terrible. They seem to be a team that compete with anyone on any given night, but also lose to anyone (see Loyola) on any given night.

As a Duke fan, it's nice to have an inside presence this year and not rely so heavily on the three point shot.
