I would guess, with little fear of being wrong, that on our team now, he would be 4th string.

If he stays in the ACC, I expect he will try to land in the Atlantic.

Unless he has graduated, and a grad transfer, doubt you will see him. Most every school won't release a kid to another school in their own conference.

Maybe that he changed since they seem to be much more lenient. But I know that for years a school wouldn't release a player to transfer to a school within the conference, or a big OOC rival. But in reality, saw this kid play a few times. He is by no means a QB that would seem to be any great passer. When I saw him he wasn't the most accurate QB I have ever seen. But maybe his protection was weak, or he didn't have good receivers. VT hasn't been very good. Figure some of that is the transition from one staff to the new staff. But entering his third year, Fuentes is going to feel that seat start to get warm if they don't improve next year.

I think Hooker is another guy who is never going to be a top QB. His QB prowess in HS was being a first rate all around athlete.

Fuentes may have realized that he needs actual QBs, not athletes playing at QB - which is what he had at Memphis. As we no longer have Fedora and Mack now wants QBs to pass, to control the game with passing, I'd prefer that VT be focused on QBs who need to run to have any effectiveness.
