Another open ACC job

Syracuse is an awful job in my opinion. It's, at best, the 12th best job in the ACC.
It is bad in many ways. It is far from any decent recruiting ground, and other than the ND fans, virtually nobody in NY cares about college football.

But is a great opportunity for up and comers. It is in a P5 conference, one with mostly Southern teams. That should make it make it easier for Syracuse to recruit than it was 20 years ago.

What Syracuse needs is a coach whose game will draw fans to the Carrier Dome. That means passing, a lot of it, with running coming off the passing. Mike Leach would have been great for Syracuse.

I think an OC the Cuse should explore is Scott Frost.

Lincoln Riley is also worth a chat or two. He may be the best young OC in the game, and he knows the ACC area from his time at ECU. He is a native Texan who may prefer to coach in the southwest, but a P5 HC job at his age would be hard to pass up.
