Yeah...fgcu doesn't look too bad..they won 2 games in the tournament last year or a couple of years ago..can't remember!!..too lazy to Google it right now..lol
Yeah I think it was a couple years ago.
Definitely have ACC size --- dominate their conference in the paint, but can't shoot a lick form outside from what I saw in the first half.
FGCU reminds me of that Long Island team we played back in 2011. They can score on anyone, but there's no way theyll be able to handle our size and pace for 40 minutes. Should be a game in the 80s and 90s
Annnd just like clockwork, Seth Davis says they're the kind of team who can pull the 1-16 upset.
And here comes FDU. If FGCU can't take better care of the ball than that they'll deserve to blow a lead.
Yes, Colorado, in Lawrence Joel I believe. I think Chauncey Billups was on that team but not 100% sure.
This is one time that I hope that our guys are paying attention to the media's thought' s about our team...everybody thinks are chances are slim to get pass uk..hell, alot think that providence will do us in!!..hope they use this as extra motivation..can't wait til thurs.!!

Yes. They reached the sweet 16 in 2013, defeating 2-seed Georgetown and 7-seed San Diego St. First ever 15 seed to make the sweet 16. After that year their coach at that time Andy Enfield was hired to coach at USC.

I believe you are correct sir. I follow a couple of the guys on Twitter and pick up tidbits from someone close to some of the players and yes, they have definitely heard what is being said. Suffice to say Roy won't need to bring in any bulletin board material for the locker room.
There has been, and continues to be, loads of bulletin board material for this team They are simply NOT getting the respect and I hope they soak that disrespect in... it provides great motivation.

Our Bigs have already shown they've had enough of being called "soft".
JB and Marcus have certainly heard all the talk of how all these "great" backcourts will supposedly be tough match-ups for UNC. Some of these "experts" might wanna ask Parrentes and Brogdon how that went for 'em.
BTW: Justin deleted his Twitter account to tune out the negative sh**. Don't be surprised if Buckets decides to join the scoring party during the Big Dance.
You're right. I think that was beating Colorado, in maybe a s16 or e8 game - a Colorado team that advance with the help of Chauncey Billups - but Billups got injured and didn't play against us. I'm just recalling this from memory.
FGCU was the team of high flying dunkers, right? and the coach who got so much attention for scoring this superhot model as a wife.... is that correct?
Me 2!!..hope all the other teams are buying into the hype also..they may go into the game thinking they are the superior team and sleep on us..just to get a rude awakening !!

I saw a video breaking down the UNC, Florida gulf coast matchup on B/R. Jason King said the kids are listening to all the talk about them being "soft" and have group texts every time one of them hears it from somewhere. You saw the motivation in the ACC tourney. The kids are listening and motivated folks.
I watched some of the FGC v FDU game...not pretty but IMO FGC has a more athletic type team that flys around and FDU is a bit more structured but don't take care of the ball. Or it may be my cold medicine!
I didn't get a chance to watch the game, so I'm not sure what to expect. Did you see any reason to think they would give us a challenge or are you predicting a blow out?
