Anyone at OOTB wanna have a FF league this year?

Let me just put this out there right now. There is nobody on this site that is better than me at fantasy anything. It doesn't matter if it's football, baseball, or any other sport that doesn't really matter. Me > you.

However, I would never dream of joining a league that was so heavily dependent on luck. I'm all about the dissemination of information. I'll happily pour through countless stats, building Excel workbooks on said information, but I'm not going to do this in order to battle a bunch of lazy, ignorant wannabe "fantasy warriors". I'm definitely not going to join a league where the league evidently has zero sense of humor. I've been there... I've done that, and I have no wish to join a one season league, with a bunch of "safe space" people, who have a specific legislation which tends to improve their chances of winning.
Lol...

I know. Dude needs to do himself (and us) a favor and just leave the board altogether.

Or maybe some people just need to relax. You don't really help the argument against you sometimes. The truth is that I did it for over 20 years and I'm just kind of tired of it all. I just found a ten man league amusing. I probably would have dropped it after the first post if Strumm hadn't pushed the issue. At that point I had to mess with him.

As for the "wtf", do you guys not know about stats and preparation? Or does your preparation consist of buying some random FF magazine from your local store? I fail to see how being prepared for whatever you choose to do as being "weird", but that's just me. ;) It's also probably why I won so many of my leagues.:D

You revel in being a human canker sore and then pretend to be sincere and accuse people of being uptight. You constantly have to resort to insulting people in order to try and get them... anyone... to argue back. No one has you "on ignore", they're just ignoring you. I'm the one person who welcomed you when you arrived here and you've managed to basically turn me into one of your targets of opposition. No one will miss you.

Que? I'm not sure how joking around is such a bad thing, but I do think people have gotten a lot more uptight since the 2016 election. Not to go all crazy political in a FF thread, but I really think the media on both sides has contributed to this uptight culture. I didn't expect anyone to actually take that post serious, as it was so over the top and Trumpish. If I offended you, then I'm sorry. I really wasn't being serious. This is just another reason why I don't participate in these leagues anymore.

For future reference, unless I'm actually debating a topic, I'm probably just being silly. I'm just a goofball at heart and I won't apologize for that. It's a lot better than being angry most of the time.

Edit: I removed the post, just so it wouldn't distract from the thread.

I'll play! I like leagues with 10 teams. More competitive. If you have 16 teams, the teams have a bunch of filler players that will probably not see the field. I also like 2 QB leagues. But whatever is decided, count me in. Need to get it going soon. I have a friend that is willing to play but he's not a THU member if we need another person.

Okay... so, 5 are up for it so far.

One other choice is that you double the requirements. I've done this before. It basically goes down like this for an eight man league:

2QB
4RB
4WR
2TE
2RB/WR/TE, aka Flex
2Kickers
2Defense

Of course, you need a bigger bench. You need 18 players to field a team, so I'm guessing a 28-30 round draft should be acceptable. Personally, I feel the longer draft helps the more prepared player, but I wouldn't impose that upon you.

Edit: You could also lower the RB and WR requirements to 3 if you didn't want to get too hardcore. I'm just throwing out options.
