Our firm is CAD only and I don't think we can convert. I'll ask one of my architects.Need help converting rvt files to CAD. Our version of Revit won't do it with these files for some reason.
Help a brother out here.
Are you an architect? Let me know if that converter works this evening.AutoCAD? I have a conversion utility that I downloaded to convert old AutoCAD files to newer versions for compatibility, but I am not sure it will convert Revit files. I will check when I get home. I believe I downloaded it from AutoDesk's website, but I can't remember.
ThanksNo, but I play one on TV! LOL!
Architectural background (degree in Interior Design/Space Planning, but never used it!), worked in the field for close to 25 years, on and off. I manage a customer service call center now, but I do plans on the side for some contractor friends who need something to show the clients or planning departments.
Been working with AutoCAD since college and taught some classes on it in college, grad school and the private sector when I worked for a reprographics firm in Charlotte many moons ago.
I'll check into it and let you know.
@UNC71-00 - email me the files at elliott@va-spaces.commif you want.
I'll send them over to one of my architects and see what they can do
I assumed it was code for hookers and blow.Looked at the thread and thought "WTF is this shit". Upon further reading I said "WTF is this shit?".

Ours probably wouldn't work either then. We pretty much exclusively use DXF and DWG.Well, the DWG converter I have won't convert revit files. Sorry I couldn't help!
