He's been MIA the last few games.
He has to get back to those 10/6/6 games, and it starts this thursday.

I believe Hicks is back, I had a good feeling he would break out last night.

Theo is the key to our title run.

He tallied 3 boards, 7 dimes, 1 steal, and played good defense. His ability to facilitate the offense, specifically his ability to feed the post, allows Joel to concentrate on scoring and playing defense. That's a big contribution. He was also able to play 31 minutes which was encouraging. Offensively, I would like to see him try to drive the ball more versus shooting treys which isn't his forte.

He is indeed a vital part of our team.

His 7 dimes were huge vs duke, that is production from the 2 spot. Love kenny but the fact is we were not getting a lot of production from him on the offensive end for that string of games before he went down.

I agree....He brings that energy to the game that is needed, and sees the floor very well as he's bigger than KW, and is a very good defender when he's focused....He did telegraph a few passes against Duke that were picked off, and that was uncharacteristic of the way he's generally plays, but overall he is a very important cog that as mentioned above allows both Berry and Jackson to move freely above the arc, and find open shot attempts....He like Maye do a great job of feeding the high and low post positions, and both are very important from a rebounding standpoint as both go hard to the boards, and get key rebounds on both the offensive and defensive end....We will certainly need his best along with everyone else on the team's best if we are to make the same kind of run as we did last year, starting with the upcoming ACC Tourney that begins on Thursday for the Tar Heels....Can't wait!

On Theo;s TOs vs duke, on one he just tried to force it in to a to tight spot and the other, Jones was late getting down court and Theo just didn't see him. I tend to take his TOs and not worry because he is trying to make things happen more so than just beinh careless.

Theo didn't have a good overall game but guess who finally had a good game? Hicks! The good thing about this version of the Heels is that they have so many weapons. I think the Heels will have the #1 seed wrapped up if they at least make it to the ACC tourney final. If that happens, they will make the Final Four. Once you get there, anything can happen.

7 assists with 2 to's is good on paper. Only thing that bothered me was a few of his passes were kinda bad. He luckily got away with several that looked like they could have/should have been TOs.

This is what you get with Theo. He is a little bit of a wild card at times but guys like him when they are clicking on all cylinders of their game? Can really influence a game from every facet. He is much more controlled than say a guy like Tokoto was in a very similar role. Let Theo be Theo and take the good with the bad. He is one of the few guys that can shoot as poorly as he has the last 2-3 games and still make a positive impact playing a lot of minutes. Theo played okay at best Saturday and still had the 7 dimes to 2 turnovers. Plus he doesn't eat up a ton of shots and can get them within the flow without any plays run for him.

Would love to see him drive more and get a soft lane jumper going like JJ .. he's still the key to a deep run though.. jmho

Hicks is the key to our Title run. Theo had a good floor game against Duke. His defense needs to improve, but we don't need big points from him.

This team can sub around Hicks .. as has been proven. There is no one that can get anywhere close to doing the things Theo does over all. jmho

Don't misunderstand me, I am a HUGE Pinson fan! He just makes me shake my head sometimes with his passes. In fairness, he is way less wild than Tokoto, as you mentioned.

Anyone expecting 15/5/5 from Theo every game is going to be disappointed alot what got from him Saturday is just what we need minus the turnovers!

Theo is playing great if he keeps locking down his man we have plenty of O!

Tokoto as Jr.
JUNIOR SEASON (2014-15) 4.3 apg vs 2.2 to. 8.3ppg. 5.6reb.

Ranked sixth in the ACC in assists, eighth in assist-turnover ratio (1.9) and ninth in steals • Was the only forward to rank among the top 10 in the ACC in assists • One of four players in the ACC ranked in the top 10 in both assists and steals and the only one of the four that was not a point guard

Theo 3.6 apg vs. .9 to. 6.3ppg. 4.4 reb.

Not as big a difference wrt assists/turnovers as some mis-remember.

Tokoto=team problems etc. but stats were still decent.

Again, Big Pinson fan here. Love Theo, we need him at his best to advance far in either Tourney.
