AO Cortez does have some redeemable qualities

She's taking a "self-care break" before the congressional session even starts:

Honestly.... I don't hate it. Ruffle the feathers of the establishment on your way in, I like to see that. Also liked this quote "I believe public servants do a disservice to our communities by pretending to be perfect,” she wrote. “A lot of campaigns are based on telling a ‘superhuman’ story and I respectfully disagree with that tactic...You don’t have to be perfect"

We all know politicians for the most part, suck. Now we're having them start to admit that. That's nice.

Somebody get that woman a cry closet!

Maybe that's @bleeduncblue 's daughter. I remember him telling us they adopted from overseas. This gal looks like she's from out of town.

And this always puts the biggest smile on my face: the PS22 cover of this song. PS22 is a public school on Staten Island and they have a whole series of YouTube videos where their chorus teacher has them sing various pop songs. What I especially like about this song is that he added vocal harmonies even though there aren't any in the original song. Look how engaged every one of these kids is. It's beautiful.

Even if you don't like the song, it's worth watching for the first 10 seconds where the teacher clowns the students, lol

What year was that? The reason I ask is because there is a latino kid with a glorious mullet.
