Arby's Buffalo Chicken Sandwich

I haven't, but I need to. Every time I go to Publix, it's just to grab a few things as quickly as I can and get the crap out of there.

You didn't get the Meat Mountain?

I love you guys but you eat out too much, it's not healthy or cheap.
I actually have been bringing my lunch to work the past few weeks as part of my "getting healthy" trends of 2017. Definitely eating healthier than I used to and am saving some money.

Yeah I would have tried it back in the days when I tried the KFC Double Down, well not the same day of course

Too much meat is gross. Instead of a burger with two or three patties on it, I'd just rather have another single patty burger, you know?

Speaking of Publix, High Peezy is finally stepping up to the plate and getting one. Can't wait to see what all the ruckus is about.
It's alright. Employees are nice to the point of being extremely annoying. Every single one you come across will ask you how you're doing. All of them. Cashiers will attempt to have in-depth conversations with you, and they can't take a hint that you want them to STFU. They always offer to take my cart to my car for me too, and it pisses me off. I'm in my 30s, not my 90s, I don't need someone to carry my crap. They have good stuff though.

+100000

I have never been able to get into the fads that involve just piling on more meat. I do like actually tasting the small slice of tomato they decide to include for decorative purposes only.

I've had an Arby's Buffalo Chicken sammich . . . they are dayum good. I love a lot of Arby's items though . . worth the money IMO.

I'll have to try...that looks amazing. I haven't been to an Arby's in probably 15 years...easily the last time was in high school.

How can it possibly top the zaxby's kickin' chicken sammich?
It's close, if not equal. The difference is Arby's completely drowns the chicken in Buffalo sauce (and it's got some heat to it too - not some cheap knock-off buffalo sauce - it's the real deal), while Zaxbys just takes chicken tenders and drizzles some on there. Not that there's anything wrong with that, as Zaxbys tenders are wonderful. Plus, Texas toast. It's close, that's for sure.

This would drive me absolutely insane, probably enough to prevent me from going there even if they had the best stuff. My main goal when I go to the grocery store is to get out of there without having to say a word to anyone. I usually take the extra precaution of wearing earbuds to accomplish this goal (sometimes I don't even have anything playing).

I felt like crap for about two days after eating one of those Double Downs from KFC, and that was about 10 years ago. I could only imagine what that thing would do to my insides if I ate one today.

I never said I didn't like it, I just want their employees to STFU and leave me alone
Honestly... try a different location. The employees aren't like that at the Publix here. They're polite but they don't pester you. Might just be an overzealous manager at your location.

As for offering to helping you take your cart / bags to your car, that's just their thing. It's what they're known for. All you gotta do is say "Nah man, I got it. Thanks."

I hear they (Publix) have a cheese bar. Is this true?
I wouldn't car it a "bar" but yes they have two separate areas where they have assorted cheese that they'll slice up for you (or is pre-sliced).

Also they have a chicken wing section, chicken tender section, and sub sammich-making section.

That's really no different than how you northerners act all the time. Don't act like it's a grocery store thing.

No Publix here in Central VA but I recall good experiences with them while I was living in Mt. P, SC. We have an Aldi here and that place rocks. Best produce I've ever found at a grocery store. But mostly, I go Krogering because it's the most convenient.

Well yeah, that's what I do, but that doesn't mean it doesn't piss me off and make me want to say GFY.

I'm not going to a different location either since Publix is literally a quarter mile from my house. I'll just deal with it and tell them to **** off.

I think Arby's is pretty terrible (almost as terrible as their commercials) as far as fast food goes but that looks pretty decent. It is kind of hard to screw up a buffalo chicken sandwich though.
