We're suppose to get a burst of heavy snow this afternoon, and then the temperatures will drop like a rock. Tomorrow night's low temp is forecasted to be a minus 5 here in NoVA . . that would be the coldest temps so far this winter.

In the Triad area, I've seen forecasts of anywhere from about 2 degrees to -4 for Thursday night. I don't know if I can recall ever seeing temps below freezing in all the time I've lived in central NC.
