Bradley, Robinson, and Woods are on board. Are we done? Do we have a real shot at anyone else? The only other recruits that I'm thinking we have the slightest chance with are Alkins and Azubuike and I think they're both longshots.

Is there anyone else we're waiting on? Anyone that we could get in late on?

I don' t think we're done.
There always seems to be a late bloomer or a kid that changes his mind or perhaps a JUCO that is available. I believe we will get another big man

I disagree about Rawle and Azubuike being long shots. We are gaining momentum in recruiting and I definitely will not say we are done until they both commit. Many people thought Woods was a lock to SC. We know Rawle will commit in the spring so just be patient with his recruitment.

We need another big man. If, Azubuike doesn't choose us, then I'm not sure where Roy goes.
Some folks are talking as if Kennedy Meeks is gone after this season. Playing the 'what if' game . . If both Meeks and Isaiah Hicks leave, we will have a colossal need for a big.

Because Hicks has shown us anything in the past two years that tells us he's ready for the NBA? That would have to be a huge leap.

The graduate angle is picking up more and more with CFB but primarily because a good portion of the players end up red-shirting at least one year, and therefore have the extra year to play. Is that something that happens much in college basketball outside of injuries? Honestly never paid attention to that angle much for college hoops.

This may be redundant for some of you, but I wanted to sort of put together a list of people we are still in the mix for, according to the Top 150 page. I looked specifically at the top 50, and of the kids who haven't committed, we are listed as possibilities for Josh Jackson, De'Aaron Fox, Malik Monk, Bam Adebayo, Rawle Alkins, Kobi Simmons, Jarrett Allen, and Dewan Huell. Of those, only Jackson & Huell don't have offers. I think we will get at least one of Adebayo or Alkins, but the rest seem like long shots. Still a lot of time left to gain commits, we will have to see what plays out, but I don't think we are done with this class yet.

I'm fairly certain that Bam has no interest in UNC . . and while the Alkins recruitment may be improving for us, I think we still may only be a remote possibility.

As heels2345 mentions there are still kids out there that Roy is after. Some of the kids don't show on some "radars". Coaches know where the players are....I can wait until spring, some of those kids 2345 listed may want to consider they can get on the dang bus now or miss it altogether...waiting until spring will narrow that little list but as I said staff are after a few kids not many of us know a thing about.

I would be ecstatic to get Bam.. But really do Not see that happening

There always sees to be a late bloomer/sleeper that suddenly in the spring comes from nowhere after his SR season and is HOT

THIS scenario seems possible or the JUCO or Graduate transfer

It's probably Rawle or UA as our two remaining options. Kobi Simmons has just reopened his recruitment so he's interesting but I doubt we get a look.

Things could change if the NCAA clears us this winter, something tells me a spring guy or two might start to look at us with the combo of that and a great season from our current squad.

I have heard Roy is no longer recruiting Bam.

only one that you named that we have a chance with is alkins..and that's a slim chance right now..may get stronger as the season goes ..but right now all of the others are a no go!!..also,fox just pledged to uk today !!..probably have a better shot at udoka than any of these guys!!

Bam doesnt have an offer.

The state of North Carolina boasts three of the top six players in the ESPN 100 class of 2016. None of them will suit up for the Tar Heels.

Power forward Harry Giles, who ranks No. 1 overall, committed to Duke last week. Point guard Dennis Smith Jr., ranked No. 4, committed to NC State in September. Power forward Bam Adebayo, ranked No. 6, was not targeted by Carolina and did not receive a scholarship offer.

I think a juco is a long shot.
I agree.

Has Roy ever gone after a JC player? I can't remember any. Not that he couldn't start now if he wants to.

JC players show up on the 247 commitment page. I've seen a bunch of them filter through. My impression is that unless you are talking about a top 10 juco guy, he probably isn't good enough. For example, the most recent juco player on that list is ranked at #6 (among juco players) with a numerical rating of .9200. Which would put him at #125 on the regular list. The next juco guy I see on the list is ranked #9 with a rating of .8828. Which would put him at #177.

Obviously a juco guy with the right skill set could be a help. Especially if he he has a good head on his shoulders. Plus, he's a couple of years more mature. But, on the other hand, it takes a while to learn Roy's system and a juco player only has a couple of years.

Bam has an offer and was a early target. Everyone thought he was a UNC lock just last year, then things started happening behind the scenes.

who cares about"dspn"..everyone on this board besides yourself knows that bam has had an offer for some time now...he's not going to accept it ,but he does indeed have one!!

After watching tonight, it reminded me how big men are the focus of the offense and makes me scratch my head why big men aren't lining up at the door wanting to come to UNC! I think Bam should reconsider his dwindling interest in UNC and AZ should commit asap.

One year grad transfer seems much more likely than a JUCO. Keep an eye on any decommits in the spring as well.

Those are the sources I would expect, as well. Justin Knox did very well for us. He had a well-defined game and didn't need to "learn" as much as a freshman to mesh with our offense.

they are seduced by the twin dark sides. I can only surmise they enjoy watching wings launch 3 pointers.
