19-7 with a win over Duke and currently projected as a #3 Seed. Not sure about you, but honestly I'm pretty pleased and proud of the team. Those feet are paddling as hard as they can underneath the water with what they have. A few surprises (good and bad) along the way, but all in all I think UNC fans should be pretty dang happy with how the season is playing out.

- Felton obviously didn't go as planned
- Luke has exceeded expectations
- Cam is hitting his stride and getting to where we all hoped he would
- Theo doing his thing
- JB being JB
- KW looking good
- Had hoped for a "little" more from the freshmen bigs but the ACC battles are getting them ready

Now let's get Seventh and BRob to give us something!!

Well I must admit that we are actually ahead of where I thought we would be coming off back to back FF appearances and a NC. but our freshman bigs need to grow up fast if we are going to make it deep into the tournament. I worry about meeting up with a so so team that has a dominate inside game.

Three straight losses and I'm about ready to shoot my TV. Two straight wins and I'm thinking a deep run in the NCAAT.

Tonight's game will help us see if we have finally transitioned to a team that takes every game seriously.

With the quick turnaround, highs from the previous 2 great wins, home court advantage against a team we already beat, this is the classic setup for a letdown.

No letdowns.

A lot of it is Roy being Roy.
We start off strong on a national stage, due to a superior system (and a great PG)...
which means future opponents scout us hard to find a weakness to attack, and then do...
then we struggle whilst that weakness is exposed and from a bit of complacency from the great start...
then correct it and struggle a bit more as we complete our adjustment...
then finally hit our stride once all the guys fully buy into our system's core components and the consistent effort required to bring them to fruition...

Then it's a matter of hoping we achieve that last step by March (we often do).
Rinse and repeat.

Agree with the OP. For me weirdly Cam has been a bit of a surprise. We need more consistency from him for sure but his work on the boards has adequately replaced that of Justin and his effort has improved with health.

Our SOS is #2 according to CBS Sports. 19-7 against that schedule after losing Kennedy/Isaiah/Tony/Nate is outstanding. And we’ve done it primarily because we’re #1 in rebounding margin. That’s remarkable considering we’re playing without a true center most of the time. Rebounding was my biggest concern coming in to the season.

Don’t forget Justin
