Unfortunately, Variety Playhouse is on the other side of the world from me. I finally finished all my finals yesterday and all I'm doing today is sleeping haha. Variety Playhouse is a cool venue though. Pretty intimate. I saw the Turnpike Troubadours there two months ago.
Eh not really although I see how you could get that from that song/vid. He played plenty of his "older" stuff which is less croony. (Kid's only 23 and his first record came out when he was 17 so older is a relative term.)
Two of the best shows I've ever been to were just the band and acoustic guitars. One was Aaron Lewis and the other was an impromptu Shinedown acoustic set.

Yep. That was where I first heard of him as well. He does pretty good standup routine. Acts, writes and directs Atlanta. And his last album is really good.
Yeah his standup is definitely solid, he used to write on 30 Rock also. I love his last album. I think Solo comes out next year, and I’m really looking forward to him in that. I also think he’ll be really good in the live action Lion King
Totally agree, I was a big fan of Community. So many great episodes, the first paintball, the Law & Order one, Abed's Claymation Christmas, the list goes on and on.
