Just for fun I looked at the top ACC Teams and calculated for their ACC games their margin on the road, their margin at home and difference in their margin between home and away.

Code:
UNC Duke UVa LVL FSU NotreD
Away 1.25 -13.00 4.25 1.00 -5.50 2.00
Home 34.00 24.67 9.33 9.75 11.00 10.00
Diff 32.75 37.67 5.08 8.75 16.50 12.00
.
In case that isn't clear we are beating ACC foes on the road by an average of 1.25 points, but beating them at home by a whopping 34 point average. So, on average, we are 32.75 points better at home than on the road. Compare that with UVa, which is still better at home than on the road, but is much more consistent.

Obviously this is based on only a small number of games, but it's still kind of interesting.

UNC is certainly much better at home. Really the differential isn't important taken in context though. UNC's kind of looks worse because the differential is so severe but we are right there with Louisville and ND on the road and better than FSU. UVA's is impressive. UNC and Duke both have a massive home win that skews that number. Pretty cool numbers though.

Can't we just as accurately say that the dookies are tied for 10th? That sounds a lot better to me!:)

No, but Wake & Syracuse play tonight so one of them will move into solo 7th, dropping the blew devils to T8 for the moment.

Then we can hope for another Ga Tech upset Wednesday that would drop dook another notch & help us in the process.

Gotta admire K's gift for deciding when to have surgery. Nice of Capel to take the losses for his boss.

Kidding aside, this certainly isn't helping Capel's chances of taking over when K retires.
