It will be interesting to see who they get. They should probably take some school(s) near WV. That would give the conference more of a geographical balance. There isn't much to choose from though. They waited too long in the expansion game. There's not much left out there now.
I hope they take Cincy and UConn so that dumba** fans of ACC schools will stop suggesting we bring either of those two schools to the ACC. I'd rather invite Old Dominion than Cincy or UConn.

I can see the way it would play out. The Wufs would all squeal with delight about how they finally would be free from UNC's illegal strings that have held down ole innocent MooU. And now they are in a real football conference. They would start boasting about how their rivalry with WVU will make all other college football from WV down through NC irrelevant.
And then Texas would announce that it is leaving the Big 12 to join the ACC.
Moou fans seriously want to join the sec. Could you imagine them playing Alabama Lsu ole miss and the likes talk about funny they probably couldn't beat ky from that conference
Don't fall into the trap. Moo joining the SEC would be terrible for us. Sure they'd get their teeth kicked in for a few years, but they'd be able to recruit like wildfire, simply because of the conference there in. Their home schedule would regularly include UGA, Florida, South Carolina, and Tennessee while ours still would include lowly GT, Duke, etc. They'd rocket past us in football.
Heck, IMO most UNC fans would opt for the SEC and I know for a fact they covet the 'Heels. Imagine what that would do to the Raleigh inbreds.
It'd be nice if the SEC and ACC somehow merged conferences, and kicked the garbage to the curb for a second tier conference. Obviously it would never happen, but if the SEC dropped the likes of Mizzou, Vandy, Miss St., and Arkansas - and then brought in FSU, Miami, Clemson, UNC, Duke, and UVA - they'd have a 16 team conference that was better in both football and basketball than they had in their current 14 team conference.
Replace duke with Louisville. UNC can always schedule the duke matchup as an OOC game.
They'd have to play it in Greensboro or Charlotte then. As we know K doesn't schedule OOC road games.
